WHAT? Self-organized Come-When-You-Like Park Clean-up!
HOW?
Step 1: Organize your family or crew**
Step 2. Bring your Bags/Tools/Gloves to Woodland Park anytime over the 2-week period.
Step 3: Gather as much rubbish as you safely can, and place sealed bags near any park trash can.
Step 4: Post your crew and trash haul to Instagram or FB with the tag #THANKFULFORWOODLANDPARK or email your photos to photos@friendsofwoodlandpark.org by December 24.
Step 5: Compete for prizes, and if you are Scout, earn a patch!
WHY? Woodland Park is home to diverse wildlife & is a unique hiking & recreational oasis open to all, but it suffers from excess debris, particularly during rainy periods
