This year the Tour de BCycle is bigger, better and bike-ier than ever!

Tour de BCycle has grown a lot over the years. What started as a one-day event to visit just 29 stations around Downtown is now a month-long challenge to visit 153 stations spanning 120 sq. miles across Houston to earn as many Neighborhood Badges as possible.

It’s not too late!! You've got the whole month of October to visit BStations and win prizes - you can register any time throughout the month. Here's how it works:

1. Registration for the Tour de BCycle is required - click HERE Registration includes BCycle membership, a kick-ass aluminum water bottle, beautiful custom-designed Badges, free group rides and best of all....the right to earn ETERNAL GLORY as a TOUR CHAMPION. (Current BCycle members also need to register. Otherwise, we won’t know you’re competing.)

2. A BCycle membership is included with registration. If you aren't already a member, be sure to select a free monthly membership in the Add On section when purchasing your ticket. We will send you a promo code to register for free.

3. Start visiting as many stations as you can!

Some important notes:

• You have all of October to earn as many Neighborhood Badges as possible.

• You earn a Neighborhood Badge by visiting every station in that neighborhood network to achieve the Badge (no partial credit!)

• Log a station by checking a BCycle in or out at that station.

• There are 21 possible Neighborhoods Badges to earn (153 stations).

• There are 170 possible points.

• Badge values vary depending on the size of the neighborhood (more neighborhood stations = more points).

• Earn bonus badges by tagging an Art Station on social media or joining our Strava Club. #TourdeBCycle22

• We're hosting a bunch of free group rides where you can earn a whole neighborhood badge just by attending (or host a ride yourself to earn the coveted Ride Boss Badge).

• Check-ins and check-outs count, but you don't need to do both at each station.

• Use the BCycle app for a map on the go.

• Tag @houstonbcycle and use #TourdeBCycle22 when posting pics on all the socials!

What you can win (prizes are cumulative and awarded as you go):

Stage 1: 40+ points. Great job! We’re hooking you up with a free month of Houston BCycle membership.

Stage 2: 75+ points. Time to rep the brand. Grab a BCycle hat or t-shirt of your choice.

Stage 3: 100+ points: You earned it. Ride Houston BCycle for free for the next year, plus cool merch from local bike shops.

Stage 4: 140+ points. Holy smokes. We’re dedicating a BCycle to you. Name the bike after yourself, your dog, or create a Twitter-worthy message in 25 characters honoring your achievement on the downtube of one our bikes! Plus cool merch from local businesses, bars and restaurants (like tickets to Rooftop Cinema, a Houston Dynamo game, food and drink coupons and MORE)!

Finish Line - Tour Champion 155+ points!! All Hail! You went the distance, now reap the rewards! Tour Champions earn 155 points, through any combination of Neighborhood Badges and Bonus Badges. All Tour Champions reap the rewards of eternal fame and glory! But also these amazing prizes:
